Dear friend,
Being a winemaker means taking on a tremendous responsibility. From the moment of the grape harvest to the wine tasting in a snifter, we hold a territory’s identity in our hands, as well as the satisfaction of the palates of those who have placed their trust in us.
Over the past thirty years we have sought out the perfect balance between winemaking methods, between tradition and technological innovation involving specialized equipment. It is a goal that we have pursued over time and that—after many years of refinement in our cellars—today fully satisfies us.
We currently produce eleven references, all made in a fully sustainable environment from the vineyard to the barrel. Without the use of pesticides or herbicides but working in support of nature, we are able to avail ourselves of the tools that progress has provided for us.
Ca ‘Stelle wines are the result of the encounter between man and earth, in a continuous exchange driven by perseverance, commitment and passion. And the result satisfies us, sip after sip.

Dolce Andromyda and Alkeys: two references for a unique grape variety
The rediscovery of the Barbera del Sannio, Castelvenere’s grape variety par excellance, which at one time was used to give color and aroma to wines produced with other blends. Not to be confused with the Piedmontese grape which shares its name, this reference is waiting only to be re-evaluated and renowned on the national and international stage.
Our Territory
Ca’ Stelle is based in Castelvenere, a small town in the Telesina Valley.
From the time of the Roman Empire until today, this territory has represented the most important wine-producing area in the Sannio region.
Since 1996, the town has been part of the Italian Association, “City of Wine”
